FAMILY WORK – Malerei von W. Botha und KBOTHA

Vernissage am Sonntag, 17. März 2013 um 11 Uhr im

KULTURHAUS EPPENDORF

Julius-Reincke-Stieg 13 a (vormals Martinistr. 40), 20251 Hamburg.

Die Ausstellung zeigt Malerei und Grafik von W. Botha und Kristina Botha. Vater und Tochter bedienen sich verschiedener Sujets: W. Botha zeichnet und malt, „um die Bruchkante zwischen Natur und Kultur zu erfassen und darzustellen, um Fluchtpunkte für stille Bilder zu finden: Himmel, Wolken, Wasser, Häfen, Strände und ferne Küsten“, während Kristina Botha sich in ihrer abstrakten Malerei hauptsächlich der Farbe, als dem Medium der Malerei, den Formen, Kontrasten und der Komposition widmet. Für den Betrachter eine spannende Gegenüberstellung zweier Arbeitsweisen.
